Ranked in the Top 50 Fastest Female Swimmers in the World — at 14

By the time most teenagers are thinking about learning to drive, Nicole Ebert was ranked 48th fastest female swimmer in the world. That ranking wasn't a fluke — it came from years of elite training that took her to the U.S. Olympic Training Center, where she trained alongside Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history.

She had earned Junior National times in three events by age 13. She held a Senior National time in the 1500 Meter Freestyle at 13. She was ranked #1 in the national Top 16 in three events. And she was just getting started.

Klein High School, Pitt, and a Full Scholarship

At Klein High School, Nicole Ebert swept the 1999 All State First Team honors in the 500 Free, 400 Free Relay, and 200 Free Relay. She was named Most Valuable Swimmer. She set school records. She earned All-American honors in four events. Her performance earned her a full athletic scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh, where she set five freshman records, became a school record holder in two events, earned Big East All-Conference honors, and graduated on the Dean's List.

“When Nicole Ebert corrects your child's freestyle technique, she's drawing on knowledge she used in a race last month — not a decade ago.”

All-American. And Still Competing Today.

After college, Nicole Ebert was named All-American with a 1st place national ranking in the 200 Freestyle. She went on to earn top 10 national rankings in 10 total events. And here is what makes Nicole Ebert truly unique among Houston swim coaches: she never stopped competing. Today, Nicole Ebert is still racing at the national level and consistently ranks in the top 10 in the country.

That means when she watches your child's stroke, she isn't recalling what she used to know. She is drawing on what she trained yesterday.
